Madagascar
The predominantly Muslim northwest coast has become increasingly radicalized by groups from the Middle East. While Christians there are mostly recent converts with a need for discipleship and encouragement to proclaim the gospel, local churches and missionaries have experienced violent opposition from radical Muslims. In some cases, Christians have even been killed while trying to witness to Muslims.
Pray for Madagascar
- Pray that Christians will be bold in sharing the Good News across this island nation.
- Pray that the light of salvation will break through the violent darkness of radical Islam in the country.
- Using John 14:27 as a guide, pray for Christ's peace to fill Christians' hearts in Madagascar.
- Ask the Lord to comfort and provide for the families of those who have been killed for their faith in Jesus Christ.
- Pray that new followers of Christ will be discipled and welcomed into vibrant Christian fellowship.
